FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Day two of the government shutdown, and so far, it's business as usual at Fresno Yosemite International. Flights are taking off, and terminals are filled with travelers.

"It's been totally fine so far," Dallas traveler Merill McHenry said. "I have to go to San Francisco, then I have to go to Dallas. Certainly, it's going to impact some travel and some connections over time, perhaps even more."

But behind the scenes, federal employees remain on the job without pay.

"We're already dealing with one of the most high-stress jobs out there. To add an avoidable stress on top of that, it's hard to deal with," said Air Traffic Controller Union president Jeffrey O'Gorman.
