Downtown Dallas stakeholders are holding their collective breath as AT&T Inc., the largest public company headquartered in the city, considers its real estate options . From city officials to real estate moguls, downtown shopkeepers and restaurateurs, interest in the telecom giant's plans is at a fever pitch.
For now, AT&T’s global headquarters remains at Whitacre Tower in downtown under a lease that runs through 2030. However, the company has not confirmed its long-term plans for the site.
