LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Back in 2021, Louisville and Georgia football announced a home-and-home series slated to take place in 2026-27, but according to UofL head coach Jeff Brohm, it might be off the table.
The Bulldogs were set to come to Louisville on Sept. 19, 2026, while the Cardinals would make the trip down to Athens on Sept. 18, 2027.
However, both the SEC and ACC announced starting next year both conferences are moving to a nine-game schedule, which means space for non-conference games is limited for both teams.
Brohm isn't shying away from having a powerhouse school like Georgia as one of the Cardinals' non-conference games the next two seasons, but Georgia might not feel the same way.
