MERCERSBURG — Seeds planted 21 years ago sprouted on the JB Soccer Complex pitch adjacent to the crops.

Over the last four years, Shippensburg’s Gage Sauserman has tended to them. Each goal, every assist. One by one for the man who handed him the gardening tools. Eric Chamberlin has held the Greyhounds’ program mark of 135 career points in boys soccer since 2004.
