Police and other emergency personnel were still on the scene more than two hours after a pedestrian was struck late Thursday afternoon in Cumberland County.

The incident, called in around 5:45 p.m., took place in the area of South Third and Lowther streets in Lemoyne, according to dispatchers.

No information has been released on the condition of the person who was struck, where they were taken by ambulance, or what vehicle was involved.

As of 7:45 p.m., a duffel bag and a pile of clothes were seen in the vicinity of the incident, and police were in the road taking photos of the scene.

What appeared to be a small plush toy was also in the roadway, but was later taken away by a police officer.
