LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A 52-year-old teacher with the Clark County School District has been arrested on child abuse charges, police say.

The Clark County School District Police Department said Tiersa Baughman was arrested Wednesday on child abuse charges. The arrest stems from an investigation at Doris Hancock Elementary School.

Police say she’s been employed by the district since February 2004. A negotiated agreement will let her go home after being released.
