Kayla Weldon scored three consecutive first-half goals as Mechanicsburg field hockey cruised to its 13th straight win, beating Central Dauphin 8-1 on Thursday.
Weldon led all scorers with three goals, but five total Wildcats found the back of the net. Carly Valentino scored two, and Liberty Olivetti, Avery Rutter, and Maren Rossiter also finished with goals.
Alessi Salvaggio earned the lone score for Central Dauphin in the fourth period.
Mechanicsburg is now 13-1 this season. Central Dauphin dropped to 6-10 with the loss.
