Schenectady County unveils $460M budget with no tax increase

SCHENECTADY — Schenectady County will continue its trend of no property tax increase in 2026 under a $460.6 million budget.

The proposed operating budget plan, released Tuesday by the county manager’s office, calls for $31 million in new spending compared to the current $429 million operating budget, marking a 7.2% increase.
