Instead of solving for X, Middletown native Paige Pakenas is solving for O's

Paige Pakenas went into lunch with Davidson College professor Tim Chartier not knowing what to expect.

Pakenas, a Middletown native, scheduled the meeting with Chartier hoping to find some kind of direction for her honors thesis. She was a junior math major at Davidson at the time, and she wanted to tackle some kind of problem with real-world applications rather than something theoretical and abstract.
