Playing off-Cape for the first time this season on September 26, the Blue Knights had a fourth-quarter rally fall a yard short as they were upended by Seekonk High, 20-12.

SHS is now 1-2 overall on the season.

Seekonk struck first in a very frustrating way for the Blue Knights. As the Sandwich defensive line began to win the battles up front, it put the home team in a fourth-and-13 position at the Knights’ 18-yard line. Quarterback Nico Bonafiglia rolled out to his left and threw a dart up the near sideline for Evan DaLuz, who had sneaked in behind the Knights’ secondary to haul in the touchdown pass. Evan Menard then rushed in the conversion to put the home team ahead 8-0.
