Florida football is set to face its third straight top 10 opponent this week as the Gators host No. 7 Texas.
UF (1-3, 0-1 SEC) and the Longhorns will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN.
Texas (3-1, 0-0) is led by quarterback Arch Manning , who has thrown for 888 yards, nine touchdowns, three interceptions and has run for 123 yards and five scores.
The Longhorns feature the No. 2 scoring defense in the country. UT has only allowed 211 yards per game, which ranks No. 4 in the nation. Ten different players have recorded a sack for Texas. Liona Lefau and Michael Taaffe each lead UT with 25 total tackles each.
