George McNab is a double champion at Dean Bowling Club having won both the club and senior trophies.
George, who overcame Stevie Raeburn in the championship final, saved the game by drawing for the title at the last end. He joins only one other player in club history to have achieved the double. Bob Cranston was the runner up in the senior event.
Ladies champion for 2025 is George’s niece Holly McNab who defeated her cousin Louise Clyne to pick up this trophy for the second time.
There was a fairytale element to the ladies over-55 championship as winner Lorraine Taylor has only been playing bowls for two years in gaining her first domestic trophy at the club.
