The government wants to get input from the public about a proposed road extension and widening.

The draft environmental assessment and initial design concept report for the proposed extension and widening of El Mirage Road between Loop 303 and Jomax Road is now available for public review and comment. A virtual public hearing is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, to discuss the project and the associated draft environmental assessment and initial initial design concept report documents.

The public is invited to participate, ask questions about the proposed project and provide formal comments. The public hearing, which will be hosted virtually on Zoom, will begin with a presentation and project visualization, followed by a question-and-answer session from 6:15 to 6:30 p
