Samsung's next batch of Galaxy phones is likely at least a few months away, but that doesn't mean we can't start talking about software updates now.

A bevy of leaks and reports are already out there regarding One UI 8.5, the next big software update to Samsung's custom version of Android. It's expected to launch with the Galaxy S26 lineup of smartphones, more than likely in January, but let's dig in now.
