BALTIMORE —
Arthur Jones, a member of the 2013 Ravens Super Bowl team, has died, the Ravens announced.
He was 39 years old.
"We are terribly saddened to learn of Arthur Jones' sudden passing," said Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta in a statement.
Jones, a fifth-round pick in 2010 out of Syracuse, started 20 games for the Ravens from 2010-2013 and recorded a sack and fumble recovery in the Ravens' Super Bowl win over the 49ers in 2013.
Jones also played for the Indianapolis Colts and the then-Washington Redskins.
"Arthur's presence was a gift to everyone he encountered," DeCosta said. "His big, bright smile, infectious energy and eternal positivity created a presence that continuously uplifted others."
