On Thursday, JET 24 reported that the United States Postal Service (USPS) terminated its contract with the Pony Express shipping business, but another business is also losing its contract.

Kraus Department Store on Parade Street has been offering USPS services for decades, but that partnership is coming to an end.

The store can no longer accept US Postal Service packages, but it can still accept letters, money orders, utility bills and sell stamps.

"It's more of a hindrance to the community,” said Owen Nowosielski, the general manager of Kraus Department Store. “It was here for, we did it for the convenience of all the people who live around here, really.
