Hapoel Tel Aviv is 2–0 after the opening double week of the 2025/26 EuroLeague season, with wins over Barcelona and Anadolu Efes .

The 2025 EuroCup winners defeated Anadolu Efes in Podgorica after a second half turnaround , and after the game coach Dimitris Itoudis spoke to the press.

He was clearly pleased with the victory and also addressed the challenge of Hapoel playing EuroLeague games outside Tel Aviv, hosting rivals in Samokov, Bulgaria.
