Changes are coming to a daily bus route connecting Sarnia, Strathroy and London.

Provincial funding for the service managed by the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc ends in March but a proposal would continue the route as part of Middlesex County Connect, which was granted up to $3.4 million, over five years, in funding from the province.

Whether the service continues to include a line running daily from Sarnia to Strathroy and London could be decided by municipal councils in Sarnia and Plympton-Wyoming, according to a Lambton County report.

A cost-sharing formula set up by Middlesex County calls for municipal funding of $422,800 from Lambton through 2030, for the route, under the new proposal, that would include stops in Sarnia and Wyoming.
