DALLAS — Dallas Wings guard JJ Quinerly underwent successful knee surgery Thursday, the team announced.

The rookie had an osteochondral allograft procedure and meniscus repair on her left knee, an injury she sustained during a game against the Los Angeles Sparks on Aug. 20 . The setback sidelined her for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Quinerly, 22, is expected to make a full recovery in time for the 2026 season.

Selected 27th overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft out of West Virginia, the 5-foot-6 guard made an immediate impact for Dallas. She averaged 6.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 42.6% from the field and 38.9% from beyond the arc in 34 appearances.
