CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A young woman looking for a fresh start at life was getting ready to move across the country when she suddenly went missing.

Just months later, she was found murdered in an abandoned building in Cleveland.

In May 2019, Kittrina Bowden’s mother called police, reporting her 20-year-old daughter missing.

She said Kittrina’s work called her after she didn’t show up the past two days.

According to the police report, when Cleveland Police went to her apartment on Tacoma Avenue near Superior Avenue, one of Kittrina’s friends came up to them.

He told them she doesn’t usually lock her front door, so they walked inside and found her belongings packed up, but no Kittrina.
