The annual Penn State Extension Master Gardeners Pumpkin Walk at Waldameer Park has once again brought together dozens of local organizations to carve nearly 1,200 pumpkins, lighting up the park's trails in a festive and educational event. This year, 56 groups participated in the event, which serves as one of the largest fundraisers for the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners.
The funds raised from the event are crucial for supporting various environmental advocacy and horticultural education initiatives throughout the county.
