(NewsNation) — Former mobster Michael Franzese believes Sean "Diddy" Combs will have "more friends than enemies" in prison.
Franzese, an ex-capo in the Colombo crime family, joined "Banfield" to discuss the 50-month prison sentence handed down to Combs by a federal judge Friday.
It comes three months after Comes was convicted on a pair of prostitution-related charges but escaped RICO charges that could have put him behind bars for life. His lawyers say they will appeal Friday's sentence.
"Obviously, he's disappointed, although he really shouldn't be," Franzese said of Diddy, who has been in a New York City jail for the last 13 months.
"I think he did very well with respect to all of the drama and all of the circumstance around this trial. There was a lot of bad stuff out there, and I'm
