Reading the piece in your paper (‘“You’re living on bread and marmalade,” says pensioner on struggle to pay soaring bills’, Irish Independent , October 1) was very sobering and sad.
An 88-year-old pensioner with two artificial knees, Georgina Clarke, says the cost-of-living crisis has greatly affected her quality of life.
