Swinney, as he often does, put this moment in bigger-picture terms. “I’m grateful for the crap, too,” he said. “I’m grateful for this bad moment that we’re in. It’ll make us better. We’ll come out of it better.” Whether that happens remains to be seen. But four games into the season, Swinney has made clear he’s not changing who he is. And for Clemson, that may be the most important constant in a season full of questions.
