BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The St. Joseph Eagles won their district tuneup Friday night in a shootout against the Calvert Trojans 91-70 at the Glockzin Stadium.

Trailing at the half 35-28 the Eagles scored 14 unanswered points to take a 42-35 lead and then scored 49 more points to pick up their second win of the year.

St. Joseph will travel to Kingwood next Friday night to open up district play against Covenant Preparatory at 7:00pm while Calvert (2-3) will have their bye week and won’t play again until October 17th when they will travel to Oakwood to take on the Panthers at 7:30pm.
