SCHOFIELD – For the second consecutive season, Chippewa Falls got the upper hand early, and downed D.C. Everest 35-14, snapping the Evergreens four-game win streak on Friday, Oct. 3.

In D.C. Everest’s Week 7 matchup against the Cardinals in 2024, the Evergreens felt like they beat themselves.

Two turnovers in the first quarter turned the score upside down, and sent the Evergreen’s reeling for the remainder of the game. They fell just short, losing by one possession after a late score cut the deficit to one possession.
