MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Take a look at the significant results in Week 6 of the high school football season in West Virginia.

Class AAAA

George Washington 37, Parkersburg 30 — The Patriots rallied from a 17-9 halftime deficit to defeat the Big Reds at Stadium Field. Jaden Black toted the ball 16 times for 99 yards and three touchdowns. Sameje Wesley reeled in eight passes for 149 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown toss from Cy Persinger. Persinger completed 15-of-25 passes for 254 yards.

Ethan Jones led the PHS (3-3) rushing attack with 109 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Alex Greer rushed for a score for the Big Reds and he connected with Brady Thorn on a 21-yard touchdown pass.

With the victory, GW joins Morgantown as the only teams to reach the 6-0 mark in Class AAAA.
