ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) -- For the first time since 2018, the Saratoga Springs football team was ranked in the Class AA top 30 this week, entering their matchup with Colonie as the #28 team in the state. The Blue Streaks backed up that state ranking, powering past the Wolf Pack for a 28-14 win on Friday night.

The Saratoga offense has been powered all season by star running back Ben Coryea and Friday night was no different. Coming off a 4-touchdown performance last week against Shaker, the Senior followed it up with 3 scores in the first half against Colonie. The Wolf Pack would get one score back before the break, when Quarterback Steve Thomas Jr. called his own number for the score.
