Devon and Cornwall are braced for strong winds and heavy rainfall as Storm Amy hits the UK.

The Met Office has issued a wind warning for the entire South West ahead of Storm Amy.

The storm, which is expected to wreak havoc across the country this weekend, will bring very strong winds and heavy rainfall, causing travel disruption, potentially flooding and power outages.

The forecaster has predicted windspeeds of up to 65mph along coastlines, with western regions particularly affected.
