Deven Vigue threw for four touchdowns and ran for another as Prairie beat Mountain View 56-9 on Friday at McKenzie Stadium.
Vigue finished with 178 yards on the ground, including a 37-yard run that put the Falcons ahead 28-6 early in the second half. The senior had 167 yards passing as the Falcons won their 3A Greater St. Helens League opener and improved to 4-1 overall.
Prairie forced four interceptions, including two that were returned for touchdowns. Jackson Kimball returned a pick 94 yards in the third quarter. Camren McCray took back an interception 50 yards in the fourth quarter.
After allowing 35.7 points in their first three games, Prairie’s defense has now allowed 28 points over the past two.
