PRIVATE MANAGEMENT OF CANADA POST

It’s sad to see Canada Post going out of business, but I guess that’s how horseshoe makers felt when the car was invented. I, like most, especially seniors and mobility infirmed, will hate to see it go. This brings to me one question. There seems to be several private services waiting in the wings, wanting to take over. The postal union seems to be afraid of this happening, which poses the question, “How do private mail services think they can turn a profit if Canada Post can’t?” Perhaps the answer is a compromise: Private management of Canada Post. If the current management can’t run it without outrageous losses, perhaps it’s time to find someone who can. What’s Elon Musk doing these days?
