Michael Bellamy scored an eight-yard touchdown for Montgomery in overtime in its 22-16 win over Linden in Skillman.
Bellmay scored to win the game after the Montgomery defense stopped Linden on the first drive of overtime. It was Bellamy’s only carry of the game.
Montgomery led 8-0 after the first quarter following a 22-yard touchdown pass from Jack Kristjanson to Trey McFadden.
Linden (1-5) would eventually tie the score on a Joe Boyd one-yard run and a safety following a botched Montgomery punt. It was a 8-8 game going into halftime.
Jack Kristjanson ran for a 53-yard touchdown for Montgomery (5-1) in the third quarter followed by a seven-yard score from Linden’s Zion Francis.
Kristjanson carried the ball 14 times for 98 yards and a touchdown and went nine-of-25 passing for 105 yard
