HURRICANE – A strong determination prevailed as the Hurricane Redskins earned that elusive first win of the season in a hard-fought 44-22 battle over the St. Albans Red Dragons in front of a packed Homecoming Night crowd at Redskins Stadium.

The Red Dragons had turnover problems in the first half as they lost five fumbles for which the Redskins took advantage. In a three-minute span midway through the second quarter, Hurricane put 21 points on the board with runs of 13-yards by quarterback Isaiah Kutscher and 3-yards by senior AJ Gregory. Sophomore Riley Armstrong also hauled in a pass from Kutscher from 21 yards out.
