The Texas Tech football team returns from an open date for another road game, this one coming in TDECU Stadium to take on the Houston Cougars .

The 14th-ranked Red Raiders and Cougars are both 4-0 on the season. Houston is coming off a 27-24 overtime victory on the road at Oregon State, the same team the Red Raiders mauled 45-14 in Lubbock on Sept. 13.
