SRINAGAR : Multiple teams from the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) on Saturday carried out a major anti-encroachment drive across several parts of the Srinagar, removing illegal structures and roadside obstructions that had been causing inconvenience to the public. The operation, led by Enforcement Officer Muhammad Sayeed, was conducted simultaneously in several key areas including Residency Road, Dalgate, Sonawar, Boulevard Road, Foreshore Road and Habak. The teams dismantled unauthorized extensions, seized goods placed on pavements, and cleared bottlenecks that were impeding pedestrian and vehicular movement.
