New Delhi: The Election Commission is busy finalising its preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections. A meeting with all political parties was held today, October 4, at the Taj Hotel in Patna, the capital of Bihar. In this meeting, the BJP demanded that the Election Commission conduct elections in two phases. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar chaired the meeting.
What is BJP’s demand?
BJP State President Dilip Jaiswal demanded that the Election Commission conduct elections in two phases, as multiple phases create inconvenience for voters. He also argued that multiple phases result in increased financial expenditure for candidates. The Bihar BJP demanded that elections
