Amid the escalating controversy surrounding the Police Sub-Inspector recruitment scam in the state, Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) Chairman Susanta Nath has called for an emergency meeting on Saturday.

OPRB officials including SP Balabhadra Deep were present at the session. Meanwhile, the Crime Branch continues to probe the matter.

Key questions like - who within the department is the officer linked to the scam, how was the examination manipulated and which employees had connections with the agency involved in malpractice dominate the investigation.

The probe is also scrutinizing the preparations made for conducting the exam and how the irregularities were executed.
