Patna ( Bihar ) [India], October 4 (ANI): Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan backed the statement of party MP from Virudunagar Parliamentary Constituency, Manickam Tagore, regarding the omission of OBC reservation in the latest ICAR recruitment notification. He said that the 50 per cent cap has to be broken and reservation has to be provided based on population.

Speaking to ANI, Shakeel Ahmad Khan said, "Rahul Gandhi has said and it has been proven that the backward, extremely backward, and Dalits are in a way tied to the cap of 50 percent. That cap has to be broken and extended. Whoever has whatever population, they have to be given a reservation according to that and we will work on it."
