Hilton appears to have put its slow start well in the rearview. The Cadets have won three straight, their latest feat a 22-0 shutout over defending Class A champion and previously unbeaten Brighton.

Turnovers were key. Hilton picked off three passes and recovered a fumble. None were more consequential than the interception that capped the first half.
