MENTOR, Ohio — The last time Mentor had an offensive tackle on Ohio State’s wish list, coach Matt Gray was still the Cardinals’ offensive coordinator under Steve Trivisonno.

The Cardinals had two Big Ten recruits on their roster in 2018. Now, they have three linemen bound for Division I colleges. The biggest of them is senior tackle Landry Brede, a North Carolina State recruit who has since received a scholarship offer from Ohio State in hopes of flipping the 6-foot-6, 290-pounder.
