Octopus Energy has said customers will pay NOTHING in a major update for households. The major UK energy supplier says thousands of customers will pay NOTHING to use their electricity this weekend.

Octopus Energy's Agile tariff will see customers benefit from free energy today (October 4) and even get paid to use their electricity.Octopus Energy told The Sun that it had already seen five hours of negative prices today.

It says energy costs are expected to drop below zero again this afternoon. It says prices will drop below zero on Saturday afternoon at 12:30pm, between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, and then again later this evening at 9.30pm and 10.30pm, the energy giant said.
