PHOENIX — Police identified the suspect in a west Phoenix roadway murder on Tuesday, authorities said.

Pablo Terrazas, 39, initially fled from Maryvale officers but was later taken into custody. The 39-year-old suspect was taken to police headquarters for questioning and later booked for murder and resisting arrest.

He was arrested on probable cause after police identified several witnesses and reviewed surveillance footage, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
