HENRY COUNTY, Ga. (KABC) -- Most of us have had this experience: You're out in a public space and a baby starts crying loudly.

If you're a parent, sometimes, it's your baby making the noise.

Well, a video that's gone viral has sparked a debate about loud babies in public spaces.

Vee Whitaker - a mother in Georgia - took her 8-month-old daughter Montana to a café when the little girl started screaming.

A customer asked Whitaker to leave, saying the baby's screams were hurting his sensitive ears. He told Whitaker if she couldn't keep her infant quiet, she should leave.

But the mother said she and her child have a right to eat out, just like everyone else.
