DALLAS — Officials Wednesday identified the victim killed and the suspect arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at Pearl/Arts District Station, officials said.

According to DART Public Relations Director Jasmyn Carter, DART Police responded to a call about an active shooter Sunday evening. Carter said that the shooting resulted in one death and that the suspect in the shooting was in custody. She described the shooting as an isolated incident and said that no one else was injured.

DART later announced the arrest of 27-year-old Harrington Andrew Hurdle in connection with the shooting. Hurdle was charged with murder and booked into Dallas County Jail.

The victim was later identified as 44-year-old Norman Brown, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner.
