OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — An Oklahoma City man was left struggling after being robbed of essential medical equipment.
Alan Prudhome was left wheelchair bound after a motorcycle accident five years ago. He now uses an electric wheelchair and other equipment to navigate his day to day life.
Nearly two weeks ago, Prudhome woke up to intruders in his home, one of them trying to remove the bag he had around his waist, while he watched the other come out of his closet carrying a box of his things.
"I can't do much for myself. I can't defend myself. And there's two people in the house that I didn't know," Prudhome said as he described the robbery.
This robbery happening eight days after Prudhome returned to his apartment to see the door pried open.
On top of it all, the thieves stole more than
