Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has withdrawn the transfer orders of three employees who were moved following an incident involving bottled water on a bus. The decision to cancel the transfers was taken by the KSRTC MD, taking into account the employees’ grievances. The three employees—Jaimon, Sajeev, and Vinod—will resume their duties at their original workplaces.

The incident occurred on MC Road in Ayoor, Kollam, when Minister KB Ganesh Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of a KSRTC bus traveling from Thiruvananthapuram to Pathanapuram. The minister stopped the bus at Ayoor town after noticing plastic waste on board. He reportedly reprimanded the staff for failing to remove the plastic bottles promptly.
