Meghan Markle slammed for ‘insensitive’ post as she is driven near the Paris tunnel where Princess Diana died

But Meghan Markle appears to be getting plenty of hate over an “insensitive” post of herself riding in a limo with her feet up near the Parisian tunnel where her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, died in 1997.

Markle was returning from her visit to Paris Fashion Week where she was a guest of Balenciaga, with her whizzing past Pont Alexandre III and the Pont des Invalides bridges.

The next bridge along the Seine is the Pont d’Alma, next to the Pont d’Alma tunnel, where Princess Diana died alongside her partner at the time, Dodi Al-Fayed in August 1997.

Diana, the most famous woman in the world in the 1990s, died during a nighttime chase by photographers, around central Paris.
