Terrifying details have emerged in relation to a horrific shooting in Sydney’s inner west - where Artemios Mintzas allegedly sprayed at least 50 bullets at passing cars and police officers.
The incident unfolded at Croydon Park on Sunday evening, when Mr Mintzas allegedly began firing from his Croyden Park apartment.
Multiple people have been injured, including a man who has since undergone surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Mr Mintzas has been released from hospital and remains in police custody, where he is expected to be charged later on Monday.
Providing an update to media, NSW Police Acting superintendent Stephen Parry warned the shooting could have been much worse without swift action from specialist police.
“It’s incredible that nobody has died or received significant inj
