Following the recent violence in Cuttack, the Commissionerate Police has registered three cases in connection with the incident, informed Police Commissioner S. Debadatta Singh on Monday.

According to sources, arrests have already begun, though the authorities have not disclosed the exact number of people taken into custody.

On the other hand, ADG Law and Order Sanjay Kumar stated that those involved in the unrest have been identified through CCTV footage across the city, and strict legal action will be taken against them. As many as 50 police platoons have been deployed to maintain law and order in Cuttack.
