Not once, but twice: Two Caribou Coffee locations opening in Augusta area

The first Caribou Coffee in Augusta recently opened, and the first Caribou Coffee location in South Carolina opens Monday in North Augusta.

The Augusta location is at 3050 Washington Rd. and is the 16th location in Georgia, according to a news release from the company. It replaces a Checkers restaurant at that location.

The North Augusta restaurant is located at 1029 Edgefield Rd. in what was also once a Checkers restaurant.
